Theme Parks You Should Visit (Beside Disneyland)

Konnichiwa~ Kali ini aku mau ngelanjutin postingan blog untuk bulan ini, masih tentang theme park yang ada di dunia, which can be your fun travel destination. Untuk baca postingan sebelumnya, kamu bisa klik link ini: Theme Park and Shows Around the World. Nah, biasanya kalo nyebut kata "theme park", yang muncul di pikiran kita adalah Dufan, Disneyland, atau kalau nggak ya Universal Studio. Padahal, masih ada sangat banyakkk theme park di luar sana yang nggak kalah seru (oke, beberapa malah jauh lebih seru!). So, yuk kita liat beberapa theme park selain Disneyland!

Oh iya, sebelum aku nunjukin theme parknya, fyi aja kita bisa loh pesen tiket masuk terlebih dahulu dari Indonesia. Bisa aja ngunjungin H.I.S Travel Indonesia, atau kalo mager bisa lewat H.I.S Online Booking.

 | Legoland Malaysia  

Kalo kamu punya rencana untuk liburan ke Malaysia, Legoland adalah salah satu destinasi wisata Malaysia yang patut dipertimbangkan untuk dikunjungi. Legoland ini merupakan theme park internasional pertama yang dimiliki oleh Malaysia, terletak di Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Di sini, semua bentuk bangunan, permainan, dan dekorasi terbuat dari lego.... atau dibikin menyerupai lego. So, tempat wisata Malaysia yang satu ini cocok banget buat keluarga, khususnya yang bawa anak kecil, atau kita yang kangen akan masa kecil mainin lego. Psst, bisa juga kan foto-foto biar Instagram tetep up-to-date :p

 | Warner Bros Movie World Australia  

Yasss, selanjutnya untuk wisata Australia, we have this very interesting theme park called Warner Bros Movie World. Sesuai nama tempatnya, theme park yang terletak di Gold Coast, Queensland ini menyediakan berbagai atraksi, permainan, hingga pertunjukan bertema film-film Warner Bros seperti Batman, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, dan masih banyak lagi film-film favorit kita pas masih bocah. Permainan di theme park ini banyak lho, mulai dari yang easy-peasy hingga ekstrim seperti roller coaster. Paradenya juga merupakan salah satu atraksi yang sangat digemari. Cocok kan, buat dimasukin ke itinerary wisata Australia kamu bersama temen-temen?

 | Everland South Korea   

Who loves South Korea here??? *me me me* Sejak Kpop semakin dikenal dunia, wisata Korea juga ikut-ikutan naik daun. Selain pemandangan alam yang indah banget, kuliner juga jadi salah satu faktor yang menarik para wisatawan untuk memasukkan negara ginseng ini ke bucket list destinasi liburan mereka. Tapi di sini, kita nggak ngomongin pemandangan alam ataupun kulinernya wisata Korea, but we're gonna talk about their theme park. Theme park ini beberapa kali dijadiin lokasi syuting drama atau variety show, and you can see that it's so beautiful. Yes, it's Everland, theme park terbesar di Korea. Theme park ini terbagi dalam 8 bagian dengan tema berbeda, yaitu Global Fair (di sini ada Four Season Garden- taman dengan bunga-bunga indah dan dikelilingi bangunan Belanda), Zoo-Topia, European Adventure, Magic Land, American Adventure, Global Village, Carribeab Bay, dan Everland Speedway. So huge!

Nah, kira-kira begitulah tiga theme park selain Disneyland yang ada di dunia. Biasanya tempat wisata seperti ini bakalan rame, jadi daripada buang-buang waktu dan tenaga buat ngantri beli tiket, ada baiknya pesan tiket masuk dahulu. As I said di atas, sekarang ini udah gampang banget beli tiket masuk via traven agent, salah satunya H.I.S Travel Indonesia. Mereka nyediain berbagai tiket masuk theme park untuk mempermudah liburanmu. Tentu saja kamu juga bisa booking online di H.I.S Online Booking, Hisgo. Dan seperti biasa, jangan lupa cek Beautynesia untuk tips seputar makeup dan skincare, ya ;)

Shimokitazawa Walk // Things to Do

Before we continue to another Osaka or Kyoto posts, let's move on to Tokyo first this time! I really can't wait to share this pretty neighbourhood to you guys: Shimokitazawa. Shimokitazawa is located in Setagaya, Tokyo, a heaven for fashion, cafes, theaters, bars, and live music lovers. If you're into vintage shopping, artsy mural, instagrammable cafes and restaurants, or music, you NEED to have a walk here. Such an eyegasm I can say! Keep scrolling to know more about how to get there, what you can do/find, and what to eat in Shimokitazawa (or Shimokita). Go go! 👊

 | How to get there: 

Shimokitazawa is just two stations away from Shibuya or Shinjuku, so it's not difficult to reach at all. You need to take Odakyu Line from Shinjuku or Keio Inokashira Line from Shibuya to Shimo-kitazawa Station.

 | Vintage/Used Fashion Stores  

When I got out from the station, I already spotted a lot of pretty used-clothing store. Your Shimokitazawa walk officially start from the second you step out of Shimo-kitazawa Station! Shimokita is really famous for their vintage/used fashion stores for both women and men, from local designer to high end brand + amazing interior. I was really amazed when I noticed there are A LOT OF stylish fashionista teenagers there. Seeing boys in group going shopping? I love it, lol. Present you the photo spam of Shimokitazawa vintage/used fashion stores. どういたしまして  ;p

I really really wanted to buy something from those vintage shops, but the price is actually pretty expensive for used clothes. I need to admit that they have unique and high quality pieces, unfortunately my budget was pretty much used up. It was 2 days before my trip ended after all, hahaha.

 | Pretty Front Store  

Shimokitazawa is a heaven for pretty front store hunters around the world! Those restaurants/fashion shops did good job in decorating their front store, hands down 💘 You know what I mean right? Just strolling around and passing those pretty stores was a healing for my eyes, hahaha.

Was gonna try that pancake house, but there's long queue when I went back, so maybe next time :(

 | What to eat: 

Beside fashion, Shimokita also has a lot of food to offer from Japanese food to western food like Mexico or Italian cuisine, and again with pretty inrterior and exterior design 💖 It's a pity I didn't explore much because I was too hungry and it's super cold (I legit wore wrong outfit, cry), but I managed to search what to eat in Shimokitazawa from my phone and I decided to try Nagi ramen.

Nagi Ramen is one of the recommended food at Shimokitazawa, I decided to try it because I haven't had any ramen in anchovy broth before. To be honest, I was about to pass this one because the anchovy smell was SO STRONG and fishy 😱 Then I went back again because didn't want to spend more time for searching. Let's enter the restaurant!

This ramen house is quite small, and typically Japanese restaurants, there are seats in front of the chef (?) so you can wait while watching them preparing your ramen. First, we need to order the ramen from the machine and give it to the chef. You also get free cold water here.

 | How is the taste? 

It's actually yummy! It has thick anchovy broth but surprisingly not that fishy and I totally can handle it. The ramen itself is chewy and really really enjoyable. I actually think it'd be super oishii if it's spicy (typically Indonesian who loves spicy food, lol). It was getting saltier and saltier and in the end I can't handle it anymore, hahaha. Gomen ne, it's really good but getting too salty :( Maybe you should avoid putting too much pepper.

If you're not into that Nagi Ramen, Shimokitazawa actually offers a lot of nice restaurant choices. One of the famous Ichiran Ramen branch also located in Shimokita. I'd love to come back and try those food. And that kebab actually looks good tho. Now I'm drooling, cool.

Overall, it was an enjoyable walk despite the rain and cold weather + wrong outfit. How I wish I could've worn something warmer and in fit condition to explore more about this lovely neighbourhood. My Choice, Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2017

A few weeks ago I was invited by MyChoice to visit their booth at Cosmo Beaute 2017 event at JCC. I went there and met fellow blogger who also loves Japan, Miharu Julie. I was also invited last year to visit Mukka booth. Their booth was super crowded, just as always. My Choice is also their products, but instead of cosmetics, this brand focus on body care. It consists of body wash, body lotion, and the highlight product is the salt spa. The staff did some demo on my hand, told me how to use it and the result was immediately seen.

This spa salt is made from real salt and minerals, contains Vit C, E, and also real fruits extract. This spa salt will clean and remove dirts from the pores and beneath the skin, nourish your skin with vitamins of the fruits, and rejuvenate and repair your damaged skin.

They gave me these products to try:

| How to Use:  
When using this salt spa, make sure that your body is still wet. Then take some of the 'salt' and applying it to your skin + scrub it smoothly. After a while, rinse it with clean water.

The result of this salt spa is quite amazing, the "salt" itself will disappeared and being absorbed into the skin. My skin felt so smooth and also moisturized afterwards + nice milky scent (I used the goat milk one).

Theme Parks and Shows Around The World

Hi, I'm back with another travel collaboration post! Kali ini aku nggak bakal khusus ngebahas Jepang, melainkan lebih luas lagi which is around the world. Aku mau ngenalin beberapa atraksi yang bisa bikin liburan kita makin seru dengan #JelajahiDuniaBersamaHISGO, yaitu theme parks dan shows yang ada di Singapura, Hong Kong, dan Thailand. Nggak perlu too much blabbering, let's get this started!

 | Universal Studio Singapore  

Universal Studio Singapore udah jadi destinasi favorit untuk wisata Singapura yang berlokasi di Resorts World Sentosa di Sentosa Island. Theme park bertemakan film-film Hollywood pertama di Asia Tenggara ini menghadirkan berbagai atraksi, wahana, dan hiburan untuk keluarga dan juga teman-teman adrenaline hunter (like me, lol). Wisata Singapura yang satu ini terbagi dalam 7 zones dengan tema berbeda yang masing-masing didesain dengan sangat unik. Di sini kita bisa menikmati berbagai atraksi dari film-film favorit kita seperti Transformes The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, Shreak 4D adventure, Madagascar: A Crate Adventure, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, dan lain-lain. Favoritku adalah wahana 3D Transformers!!! You should go there at least once in your life~

 | Hong Kong Disneyland  

Untuk destinasi liburan yang satu ini udah nggak asing lagi kali yaaa~ Yup, salah satu destinasi wisata Hong Kong yang selalu ada di itinerary wisatawan: Hong Kong Disneyland! Walaupun aku udah ticked bucket list aku buat ngunjungin Disneyland di Tokyo, Disneyland di Hong Kong juga selalu ada di bucket listku loh. Yah, intinya sih I want to visit all Disneyland around the world, hahaha. Siapa coba yang nggak mau :p  Hong Kong Disneyland terletak di dalam Penny's Bay, Lantau Island dan terbagi dalam 7 area utama dengan tema yang berbeda: Acventureland, Fantasyland, Mainstreet USA, Mystic Point, Grizzly Gulch, Tomorrowland, dan Toy Story Land. I'm gonna love Toy Story Land, I bet. Kalau belom masukin theme park ini ke itinerary wisata Hong Kong kamu, well you better put it in ;))

 | Fantasea Kingdom Thailand  

Salah satu show terkenal yang patut dimasukkan ke dalam itinerary wisata Thailand adalah Fantasea Kingdom yang berlokasi di Phuket ini. Seperti yang kita tau Phuket memang terkenal dengan wisata pantainya yang indah banget. Nah, Fantasea Kingdom ini adalah nighttime show yang menunjukkan budaya dan tradisi Thailand yang kaya dan eksotis. Atraksi yang ditampilkan meliputi acrobatics, illusions, pyrotechnics, stunts, aerial performances, dan masih banyak lagi. Show ini melibatkan crew sebanyak lebih dari 400 orang, 44 gajah, 3 harimau, 40 kambing, 40 ayam, dan 400 merpati. Jadi, kalo kamu mau lebih memahami budaya dan tradisi Thailand untuk wisata Thailand kamu, coba aja main ke sini :D

FYI, biasanya theme parks dan show gitu pasti rame banget dan ngantri panjang banget hanya untuk beli tiket masuk. Biar waktu dan tenaga kamu nggak terbuang sia-sia untuk ngantri, ada baiknya kamu beli tiket dulu dari Indonesia. WRP Everyday FruitBar Grand Launching, #HappyEveryday!

I attended WRP FruitBar grand launching on Saturday 2 weeks ago with another bloggers who have niche in fashion, beauty, and travel. I, of course chose fashion. Our dress code was pastel color, which was matching the event's atmosphere and made the event seemed so youthful and fun. Will write about my outfit that day on another post, so now let's focus on the launching event ;)

First thing first, we were having press conference about #wrpeveryday newest product: WRP Everyday FruitBar. Nofa Sumawarti as WRP General Brand Manager explained about their newest product. She also accompanied by Janine  Intansari, a beauty blogger. 

WRP Everyday has this tagline, "Generasi Millenial, Generasi #HappyEveryday". Why we should be happy everyday? By being happy we can be more confident and believe in our capability to do anything we love. We as Millennials, especially girls with happy mind can inspire many people out there by doing our hobby or passion, such as blogger, celebgrams, etc. 

As for me, being a blogger is something I'm proud of. It started with my love for Japan, fashion, and sharing any information for my readers. One of my advice is, don't start doing this blogging thing with money in your mind. If you don't love blogging or have passion in it, blogging can be really stressful. You need to love doing this to be successful. Money will follow later tho, just keep doing what you can with so much love, and be happy :) I'm happy being a fashion blogger because this is so me! 

So, what's the connection with WRP Everyday FruitBar? Sometimes when you're writing your blogpost or doing any activities....I bet you're craving for some snacks, right? I resist hard not to eat any snacks because they will make me feel bloated...and fat. But you know, eating is one of my happy pill, so sometimes it's getting annoying to stay hungry when I need to write new post. Then WRP Everyday came with a brilliant idea to keep you happy with their  FruitBar, tasty and low calories snack bar with rich nutritions. We can happily snacking in the middle of night, anytime anywhere because this FruitBar only has 80calories/serving!

Janine is a famous beauty blogger in Indonesia who loves to share her tips and tricks in makeup and beauty. She also has signature style such as ombre eyebrow and lips. After the introduction to the product and some talks, Janine showed us how to create her signature ombre lips. Janine said that she enjoys eating FruitBar so much while editing her tutorial videos. 

After the press conference and first bite of fruit bar, they also gave us WRP low fat milk. I 've avoided drinking chocolate or any flavors milk (banana is my favorite) for some time because of its high calories. I used to drink milk 2 or 3 times a day, lol. But then, it turns out their low fat milk only has 110 calories/serving. Now I can drink tasty milk again! Yeay~

We also had some chit-time time with 2 bloggers from each category, I was one of them. I was so happy to have a chance to share my passion in (fashion) blogging, gave people tips and encouragement to be what they want and follow their dream/passion. 

I've faced many ups and downs during my blogging journey, urge to stop because one and another reason, but in the end I always go back to blogging because I love doing it despite what people think and the "standard" out there. I ever wrote in this post, about how people think about my unusual fashion style, something that's not "kekinian" or mainstream, fashion that's not so Indonesian, and stuff. But again, I blog because I want to show you about something I love. About my PERSONAL fashion style, about something that I can proudly shout "This is so me!" If I have to mention one thing that concerns me, it'd be my body shape. I'm not skinny, although I'm not fat either, but you can see so many "fashion blogger" out there who have slim and the so-called "perfect" body. After some time, it's tiring to keep thinking about this concern, because whatever my body shape is, I still love fashion and blog about it. So, embrace what you have and change to the better if you don't like it. You don't need to be skinny, you need to be healthy.

If you think the event ended here, no you're wrong! We still had some fun games going on, such as creating ombre lips for beauty bloggers, summer time styling for fashion bloggers, and packing game for travel bloggers. And again, I joined the game 😂 Got second place after 'embarrassing' myself in front of all people. Worth it. Got another 5 fruit bars. Worth it.

At the end of event we also got hampers from WRP contains of Fruit Bar and low fat milk, enough to fulfill my snack cravings at work or night- without feeling guilty! Thanks for having me, WRP! I had so much fun :3

WRP Everyday FruitBar ini mengandung vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B9, B12, C, dan E serta zat besi dan magnesium. Selain itu, jumlah kalori WRP FruitBar ini juga hanya 80Kkal/saji, padahal mengandung Apricot, Raisin, dan juga coklat. Jujur aja, aku selalu menghindari "makanan sehat" yang mengandung coklat (kecuali dark choco) karena parno bikin gendut. Eh ternyata si WRP FruitBar yang mengandung coklat ini malah kalorinya lebih rendah dari snack bar lain yang nggak pake coklat. Forget your thought that snacking on chocolate will make you fat! Teehee~ Ditambah dengan kemasan yang ringan, produk ini bisa kita bawa-bawa dan dimakan di mana aja pas kita pengen ngemil. Salah satu keunikan dari produk ini adalah teksturnya yang chewy, yang akhirnya bikin kita ngunyah lebih lama dan bikin efek kenyang yang lebih tahan lama juga. Jadi, yuk #NgemilFruitBAReng ;)

| WRP Everyday Low Fat Milk  

Seperti yang udah aku ngomongin di atas, I'm actually a fan of milk yang ngurangin minum susu karna takut gendut, lol. I've spent my life drinking plain low calories milk these days *cry* Nah, biar ngemil dengan WRP Everyday FruitBar-nya makin lengkap, minum juga nih WRP Everyday Low Fat Milk, yaitu susu rendak lemak kaya nutrisi dan kalsium tinggi yang dikemas dalam kemasan praktis. I'm not skinny, but to be honest I'm trying to maintain my body by stop eating junk food, snacks like potato chips, cookies, sweetened beverages, etc. Thanks to WRP Everyday new products- FruitBar and Low Fat Milk, I can eat snack anytime without worrying about the calories and its effects to my body.
