Year in Review: ありがとう 2014

As I get older, a year passed in a blink of an eye and I think I didn't do much this year. Still, I'm thankful for everything happened this year. Just like last year, I'm going to make a highlight post so the future me won't forget. In my fifth year blogging, I realized my passion for blogging is beyond my expectation, hehe.

So, highlight special of my 2014:

1. Celebrating CNY in Pontianak

It's my first time celebrated Chinese New Year in hometown after two years absence. I was so lucky because I had 3 weeks holiday (it's usually just two weeks) although I needed to finish my 3D assignment. I wish I could celebrate it in Pontianak again next year :"(

2. The First Winner of Grand Indonesia Fashion Heaven Blog Competition

This is seriously my greatest moment of 2014! I did my best to write this post, went to Grand Indonesia and wandering alone to take the fashion tenants photos and video. When I got the announcement via email and saw my name as the first winner, I was in disbelief and checked it again and again, lol. 

3. Best Reviewer of Aikatsu! Launching Event

I was so excited to attend this event because I love anime, and spent five hours to write the report so the readers can enjoy too. Turned out I'm one of the best reviewer :D

4. My First Fashion Show Ever

It started with a dream several years ago. Although it's a mini fashion show, I have experienced one of my big dreams. I'll do my best so I can attend more fashion shows and events in the future.

5. The Born of Wanderlust 

I put something new in the title: Wanderlust. Traveling always be my resolution every year, but I can't really do it. It will also in my bucket list next year and I'll work hard to achieve it! This year I just went to somewhere near, like Pontianak, Cimahi, and Bogor. I also made some travel video, but haven't had time to edit and upload them :(

Overall, I think I did well this year. I'm proud of myself to at least improve in blogging. The last five months was actually really tough because of my final project, but I wish my friends and I can pass the trial. I wish "Graduated from UMN" will be in my highlight list next year!

I just realized that today is Christmas Eve and my outfit weeks ago fit this theme. I didn't know what to wear so I just randomly grab a sweatshirt, at first I wore long pants but changed it to this skirt. I'm not a fan of red but turned out wearing red from head to toe. Matching mickey sweatshirt and sneakers too, lol.

Long story short, Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm a Born Procrastinator

"I'm very busy doing things I don't need to do 

in order to avoid doing anything I'm actually supposed to be doing."

Just a quick post before bed. These days I'm so busy with my final project because the deadline is already around the corner, but there's always (little) time to procrastinate. I just can't stand doing the same thing all day long, so I need an escape before I continue the work. Doodling is one my favorite escape, of course besides watching K-Variety Shows. The side effect is....I always stay up late to do my work.

Yo! I think this is my first TGIF moment after months because I always stay at home, in front of my laptop with korean variety shows and final project. Okay, I'm not a TGIF person to begin with. Last Friday I went to Serpong to do group project, then I went to Summarecon Mall Serpong with my partner in crime Sary while waiting my dad to pick me up. I didn't know that The Meet Market was held there, so this is actually an unplanned post, and the photos are all from my Galaxy Note II. The pop up stores was actually much more than these, it's just I didn't take photos of them, gomen. We also tried the infamous jeju ice cream, turned out just so-so.

Last Friday I went to Cimahi to attend Baros International Animation Festival. The event took place at Simply Valore Hotel....wait....I mean next to it. It's like a hall with tents, relative small for an international event. I gave up on taking more photos inside because it was freakin' hot and crowded too but I managed to ask some studio for my internship next semester. To be honest, I was not really impressed with this event but fortunately the last talk show with Rini was quite enjoyable. There's a canteen with many food carts. I ate Bakso Malang for lunch, the soup was good but those gorengan's filling was terrible, too chewy. Ticia and I also ate Es Teler, it's only IDR 10k and delicious. Craving for that kind of sausage so I bought it although it's quite expensive.
